| 04/17/2007 Updated 03/23/2008 Virginia Before I was convicted of my charge I was a very selfish, self-centered person. I never gave any thought to the consequences of my actions. It has not only affected me, but also my 2 year old daughter. It is sad that I had to come to prison to find out what is truly important in life. But here I am, and I am a much better person now. I now cherish the things that I overlooked before: Fresh air, kind words, hugs, and sincere honesty. In here, I am a G.E.D. tutor, and I get much more out of it than I give. I've always had the "things" that most people consider important. (Material things) But in here, they mean nothing. A card means more than a house, and a letter means more than a nice car. What I am looking for is a man who is kind hearted, funny and able to share hopes, dreams and even failures. I am looking for the other half of myself.
