My name is Norma Mendoza.  I'm a 26 year old Latina out of Dallas, Texas.  I'm currently serving a 5 year sentence and will be making parole within the next year.

I'm mainly looking for companionship through pen and paper.  Age, sex and race do not matter.

I hope to receive mail from a person who is in need of my company as well.

Just a Poem.....

Every blue moon I think of a Poem
It usually starts with Something Special
"Love", Something Sweet
like tea.....

A thought of Passion or a thought
of being In need.  One day
my heart will explode with joy.
in the world, Living on my own
with a friend, a lover or blood
relative.

The need to be Free.  Is a
feeling I always feel.  Wanting
to enjoy life and the things
God deals.  Like Cards on a
table For me to arrange.
Will I play Solitary or Poker or
Something Strange.  Look Into
my future.  I Intend to See
Success.  Have a Happy Family
and a Job that makes ends
meet!  I'm a Person locked
behind Closed Steel gates.  But
my heart is not Cold & I Still
have a Pretty face.  Confident
to Join the Human Race.  I'm
not a disgrace.  We all made
mistakes.I Chose to Change
my ways, And see better days.

Maybe Someone Special
will Pick me up & take me away....
A prisoner has no way out.
Trapped all the time.
When one takes the time to
Comfort our Mind.
I can only thank them.  Show them
how I feel....
Never able to explain the actual
emotion.  Waiting to be let
go.  So I can take a
Ride down a new Road.  :-)

Fearless, not lost.  Ready to Conquer all
steps to life at all cost...... .......
